These terms cover your use of Plush Price Guide, run by Jay's Retro Exchange. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use it.

What the prices are

Every value on Plush Price Guide is an estimate worked out from recorded past sales, mostly eBay sold listings. It is research to help you decide, not an appraisal, an offer or financial advice. Prices change, listings can be wrong, and a bear's condition matters more than any guide can know. Check for yourself before you buy or sell.

Who we are

Plush Price Guide is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Build-A-Bear Workshop. Build-A-Bear and the character names on this site belong to their owners. Jay's Retro Exchange buys and sells the same items this guide values; we do not adjust a value because of it, and you can see the sales behind every price.

Your account

  • Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is sent from your account.
  • One person per account, and you must be at least 13.
  • We may suspend an account that sends spam, fake prices or photos that break these terms.

Photos and prices you send us

  • Only send photos you took yourself of a bear you have in hand. Do not send photos copied from other websites or other sellers' listings, and keep people's faces and personal details out of them.
  • By sending a photo you keep ownership of it and give us permission to show it on Plush Price Guide, resize or crop it, and keep showing it after you close your account unless you ask us to remove it. We credit it as “Photo by a Plush Price Guide member”.
  • Sold prices you send must be real sales. Every submission is reviewed, and we may decline or remove anything without giving a reason.

Memberships

Memberships are not on sale yet. When they open, they will be billed monthly through Stripe and you can cancel at any time from your account. We will give notice before changing a price or a perk.

Member discount at Jay's Retro Exchange

Members receive one promotional coupon code per billing cycle. A Pro member's code is worth $5 off an order of more than $40; a Power member's code is worth $10 off an order of more than $75. Order totals are measured before taxes and shipping. Codes are valid only on items sold directly by the Jay's Retro Exchange store and cannot be used on items sold by other sellers on the Jay's Retro Exchange marketplace. Each code may be used for one order only. Codes are non-transferable, cannot be combined with other offers, have no cash value, and expire at the end of the monthly billing period if unused.

eBay listings and other links

The Deals page and item pages link to listings on eBay and other sites. Those items are sold by their sellers, not by us. Check the listing, the seller and the condition before you buy. Some eBay links may be affiliate links; that never changes a value or which listings we show.

The fine print

Plush Price Guide is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. As far as the law allows, Jay's Retro Exchange is not liable for losses from using the site or relying on its values. If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
